This article mainly introduces the installation and removal guide of the intake manifold for Caterpillar 3208 diesel engine.

AIR INLET MANIFOLD Remove the clamps (1) and (3). Remove the hose.

2. Remove the bolts (2) and elbows (4).

3. Loosen the clamps (8) and slide the hose to the turbocharger.

4. Remove the hose (9) from the manifold.

5. Remove the fuel line (7) from the fuel ratio control.

6. Remove the bolts (5). Loosen the bolts (10).

NOTE: Note: There are openings (slots) in the manifold (6) 7. Remove the manifold (6) and its gasket.
